Blast your way through enemy lines by working together, or compete for achievements as you and your friends aim to top the online leader boards.
An always very fun concept of destroying hordes of enemies, combined with excellent graphics and level design causes for an enjoyable experience of blowing the crap out of everything in glorious 3D. The story line is kind of cheesy with a comic book style, however the gameplay makes up for this quite well. Local co-op is another animal. If one player loses all of their lives, the game changes to full screen for the remaining player. I mentioned two split screen modes. You have the option of playing with a static split screen, which is exactly what it sounds like.
The screen is always split the same way, no matter how close you are to your partner. It's like a Corona commercial. Then there is the odd bit of saving in local co-op. This is hard to explain, so bear with me. There's a mining area with a Juggernaut. Just race through here, no need to kill him. It's too risky.
Also, his rockets are easier to dodge the further away you are. Remember, you can hit him even when he's just off the screen edge. The attacking gunships are annoying, but they do drop health. The biggest dangers are the mortars, remember to change directions. Focus any secondary ammo on Inferno.
Best of luck; if there's anything I should try clear up message me or comment. In case you're finding any other places tricky, let me know too and I'll try add something about it too. Showing most recent comments.

I can get to Inferno with all lives which is key in single player. I practiced a lot and it was worth it Posted by Lazy with Style on 08 Jul at Leave a comment. Sign in and add a guide.
