How big of a group of BC players does it take? How does raid looting work; is it the same as normal group looting?
Are the desecrated pieces universal for all T3 Gear, or is there a Cloth piece , a leather piece , a mail piece Does everyone get a peice with each boss or is there just one player who loots it? I havent found any answers to these questions in any posts.

MC and Onyxia. You just dont have a Better raid then Naxxramas. Naxx was a great instance and I can't wait for it's return, but what about the other instances? I hope someday they bring the rest back and upgrade them to 70 or something.
Check out the bosses on thottbot and the instance is so big you get to mount in there on special bug mounts that drop off the trash, trust me, do BWL do Naxx, but trust me AQ40 rocks too.

Even though i lvl my main to 80, i still see thir point. SO, for their case, I'l argue that there should be another entrance to Naxxramas In the Caverns of Time , just for lvl 60 chars. The fact that there would be two almost identical instances would make logical sense in COT, and there wouldn't be a huge chunk of pre-Expansion content missing. Do not butcher me for this, it is just an idea of how to satisfy every WOW subscriber.

Naxx is actually the T. Kel'Thuzad is probably Doctor Who! These pieces were introduced in Naxx to help guilds clear AQ40, so they don't have a place in P5 at the start. Blizzard is evaluating when to add them. While this is listed under the bugfix section of the patch notes, it's worth highlighting that this was never fixed in vanilla WoW. Phase 6 also fixes Improved Weapon Totems , a bug that was documented in vanilla but not fixed until Burning Crusade.
With both of these changes, we have to wonder if Classic Burning Crusade is on the way, leading Blizzard to depart from nochanges to improve the game in future content patches. Items and Content This patch includes the following new pursuits: Being exalted with your Warsong Gulch faction now offers epic-quality leg gear. Crafted nature resist pieces are now available with Cenarion Circle reputation.
Nature resist enchants for leg and head gear are now available from Zul'Gurub. Band of Cenarius is available from A Humble Offering. The Plaguewood teleport spire is one-way only. Once you're in, the only way out is to port, hearth, or die. He's trapped in a cage in the first room of trash in the Deathknight Wing inside Naxxramas.
With a skill of and high enough reputation, you will be able to choose from a total of 13 different patterns depending on your professions: Tailoring 4 , Leatherworking 6 or Blacksmithing 3.
Patterns actually doesn't exists, all of them are taught by Master Craftsman Omarion in Naxxramas. Mage , Priest , Warlock. Druid , Rogue. Hunter , Shaman. Paladin , Warrior. We recently completed testing Naxxramas on the PTR. A big thank you goes out to everyone who helped us find bugs or exploits we could fix before release.
We looked at many old videos, and though some were from the wrong expansion, we were able to find videos that showed the original fight. The videos actually had evidence of both tick rates within the same fight. The Frost Aura seemed to mostly tick every 2 seconds, but occasionally tick once per second for a bit, before returning to ticking every 2 seconds. We also checked in our reference server, and the behavior was the same as we saw in the videos: mostly 2 second ticks, but occasionally a brief streak of 1 second ticks, before returning to 2 second ticks.
This should be every 2 seconds in Normal, and every 2 seconds in Heroic. You'll notice that the Frost Aura debuff you have no longer has a duration that refreshes. Classic was not progressive, which means we started with the item, boss, and talent versions of the end of Vanilla , which include great item and talent improvements, as well as nerfed bosses in earlier raids.
You can enter Naxxramas by stepping into its teleport pad, located in Eastern Plaguelands and marked in the map below:. In order to enter Naxxramas, you need both Argent Dawn reputation and some materials, depending on your reputation level:.
As the hardest raid in Classic, you will want more healers than usual, especially for Sapphiron and Kel'Thuzad. While still better than hybrids, Warlocks and Hunters are not looking particularly hot, and will be mostly brought for their utility with curses and tranq shot.
For more information about the best healers, tanks, and DPS, check out the tier lists for each here. While the above setup is what would be considered an optimal group in a perfect world and was, indeed, the setup used for the final two bosses in the world first clear!
At the end of the day, players are more important than specs and classes in WoW Classic, so focus on having the right players first and foremost! Naxxramas has 15 bosses, with none of them being optional. The sheer amount of enemies present in this raid between bosses and trash packs is sure to force you to raid for longer periods than you might be used to in previous Classic raids, so come prepared and try to split up your raid days between wings, in order to fit your raiding schedule.
While we will not be giving out detailed descriptions and pages for each boss this time around, enjoy a quick TL;DR of each boss, which you should complement with this great video of second Naxxramas boss guides!
Pull one pack of trash at a time with care for patrols and cleanse any poisons instantly, as otherwise mobs will charge the afflicted player for one-shot damage. Focus the adds before the boss. Spread out around the boss to minimize damage taken from his Impale straight-line attack on a random player. Just before he uses Locust Swarm, have the current tank use a Swiftness Potion or have a Hunter aspect of the pack helper nearby and run to the opposite side of the room.
The idea is to avoid having anyone close to the boss while he has Locust Swarm up, as that will rapidly stack a lethal DoT. Focus Follower adds first, mind control Worshipper adds and use their silence ability on the boss to prevent or dispel her Enrage. Dodge rains of fire, cleanse any poison DoTs and keep mind-controlling ahead of Enrage until she dies.
The Plague Quarter has three bosses and is a more involved quarter, with more complex strategies involved. It also has a "suppression room" of sorts, which can be easily cleared by hugging the right wall until you reach the boss. Focus adds before the boss.
Stop DPS and healing momentarily after he blinks, as it is a full threat reset. Remove any curses immediately, as they become lethal DoTs otherwise. He will blink to the balcony every so often and call on more adds, just keep killing them until he returns and finish him off.
The dance boss! Have any players with Mana go into the podium where he starts and take the boss well away from it as he has a lethal Mana Burn aura with a pretty large radius. Have your tanks and melee people move around with the boss in a way that dodges the green explosions in the room, as shown in the video.
After a while, he teleports to the podium and begins channeling. All of your group needs to now do the dance together and away from the boss. Take note that the explosions are much faster at this point, and you will have to constantly be moving to not die. Do not stop to cast! Healers can only cast one heal per minute. Have a healing rotation set up and people only use their biggest heal on the tank, ensuring his survival. Healers should DPS while their healing spells are on cooldown. Also, use Seal of Light 's judgement effect and Poison Cleansing Totem to help out with some of the damage intake.
Spores spawn around the room, which should be picked up by groups of 5 DPS players. Get this buff on your best DPS as quickly as possible, for this fight is a DPS race, as Loatheb will be dealing raid-wide Shadow damage periodically after 2 minutes, with an interval of 30 seconds at first and of only 15 seconds after 5 minutes, which will quickly wipe your group. First Aid Bandages and Alchemy Shadow Protection Potions will allow you to stay alive for longer, so make sure to bring some!

The original incarnation of the instance was regarded as the most difficult pre-Burning Crusade raid, and required 40 well-equipped players to complete. In the World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King expansion, Naxxramas was moved to Northrend and retuned to be the introductory level 80 raid dungeon.
Like all other Wrath raid dungeons, Naxxramas has both man and man versions. An ancient Nerubian ziggurat, Naxxramas was torn free from the ground by agents of the Lich King to serve as Kel'Thuzad's base of operations as he spreads the plague throughout Lordaeron.
RtD 3 Other sources say Obrahiim, the Traveler, a great skeletal architect, was pivotal in the conception of Naxxramas, hinting that it was altered or retooled. Due to Kel'Thuzad fighting a war against the Scarlet Crusade, the Argent Dawn, the Forsaken and the Humans of the Alliance, as well as constant incursions of adventurers from every race and nation into the Scourge-controlled Plaguelands on a daily basis, his forces have been severely taxed to maintain the security of his necropolis.
But now the gates of Naxxramas are open, Kel'Thuzad's new forces are rapidly sweeping away all opposition to the Scourge. Comment by The entrance to Naxx can be hard to see if you are looking at the necropolis from a distance. The entrance is through four small holes arranged in a cross pattern located right in the center of the underside of the necropolis.
They lead to a small courtyard with a summoning stone. If you don't see the entrance flying around, fly underneath and close to the center small protrusion sticking down in the center and look up. You should see the entrances.

Please don't spam General chat with enough garbage to rival Barrens chat; some of us use Raid chat to communicate with our groups, and forcing them to constantly scroll up to see it is just inconsiderate.

Comment by Naxxramas is a very easy instance, due to its the first content raid for Wrath of the lich king. For example how blizzard made kara, Its to give characters gear realy fast for the up-coming raids. If you have a decent 10 or 25 man core raiding group you should do it right away its very easy aslong as you know how to do fights and arnt to bad geared I would recommend doing heroics for maybe 1 or 2 weeks If you need help with naxxramas fights Youtube.

This is because the zone itself is still in the Eastern Plaguelands. The instant respawn in the Carrion Fields was implemented because dying normally would cause your spirit to hit the closest graveyard, Strath's. Seeing as the Teleport Spire is removed, there would be no way to rezz without talking to a spirit healer. BUT whats killing you is the stacking poison debuff from it and the IMPALE whic makes you take way to much fall damage you can ofc heroic leap out of 1 fall every min but that aint enught. Comment by Vlad For historical purposes here is some old information; The old Naxxramas for level 60 was positioned over Eastern Plaguelands and you could look trough the windows in the instance and see Eastern Plaguelands below.
In the development stages of Naxxramas they were going to add the teleportation pad inside Stratholme , this is where the unknown portal at the end of the dungeon lead to -Naxxramas.
Here is the old unfinished dungeon with this path intact: screenshot link. Instead of a teleport pad it requires you to be summoned or to have a flying mount to access the instance portal. To get to the raid location, you need to fly there or be summoned by party members. There is no raid finder feature for this raid, you will need to make your own way there. The raid is located in the eastern part of Dragonblight, high up above the city. There are quite a few pyramids but only one allows access to Naxxramas.
The instance is still off the ground and you are required to fly up to the instance to get in. If you still don't have flight skill, you'd have to be teleported up to the instance by other raid members. Although there are achievements that make up a major achievement, there is no mount to be rewarded here but there are three pets that can be collected from the various bosses.
