If you have them through gathering, they cost you nothing. If you have to buy the items, at the time of my writing, a single strawberry cost 58 bronze, and 25 tomatoes cost 35 karma; for a total of 14 silver, 50 bronze and karma. Now click on the left icon for Sell on Trading Post.
The image above shows the highest buyer was buying at 10 silver and 51 bronze and the lowest seller is listed at 88 silver and 0 bronze. As you click to Match lowest seller, you move to the front of the list of sellers. So, even if all we do is click on Match lowest seller, we would be at the front of the line of sellers at this price. We could try this with some of the Red Dye we create, to test the market. Hopefully that will help people vote on what they think is best.
I'm curious to know everyone's opinions. Their unID dye data is based on 30k results, which turns out to be more than sufficient to make reasonable predictions for what works best. You'll see that there are no circumstances under which it is more valuable to open unID dyes. I voted to sell, but at the moment, I am actually saving them because I want to make Bifrost some day.

Far too easy to spend a few laurels on a stack of 10 when I think I need a different dye or I go buy the color I want from the TP very few colors are more than what you get for a single UID dye.
Posted by: Solo. I actually pulled an abyss from some mushrooms I harvested on a lowbie once from an immediate opening whereas I once saved 45 dyes and got only 1 rare illumination when I opened them all at once.

All assets, page layout, visual style belong to ArenaNet and are used solely to replicate the original design and preserve the original look and feel. Guild Wars 2. Or are you still just curious? User Info: esoterika. Wow, I feel like a noob right now. I've been identifying and using all of my dyes on my guardian, thinking it was unlocked for all characters. It does say the dye is character only once applied. I throw all my dyes in the bank that I want to keep and will wait until I have the armor I want on my characters and I know it's the dye I want before I go ahead and dye.
My Norn Mesmer gets purple, Sylvari necro gets greens, reds, browns and my Charr Engineer gets brown and grey. Those are assuming I play these characters seriously though if it isn't a 'main' it doesn't get dyes.
